J. Samuel Butler, President and Chief Executive Officer
J. Samuel Butler has been the President of Trinity Petroleum Management 1989 to the present. In addition, he has served as Chief Executive Officer of Sterling Energy Corp. as well as Sheffield Exploration. Mr. Butler was a founding principal in Petrie Parkman & Co., an investment banking firm specializing in upstream energy financing. After receiving a degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, Mr. Butler pursued graduate studies in the field of Mineral Economics. He is a past Director of the Independent Petroleum Association of America and past Director of the Independent Petroleum Association of the Mountain States.
David L. Milanesi, Vice President
David L. Milanesi has worked with this core group since 1991. He also served as the Chief Financial Officer for Sheffield Exploration Company, Inc.. His duties include overseeing banking relationships, the budgeting function, financial analysis of investment opportunities, shareholder reporting, and presentations to financial analysts. He has worked in the energy field for 30 years, including five years with the public accounting firm of Arthur Andersen & Co. Mr. Milanesi is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Northwestern University.
Wilmer W. Thieme , Chief Information Officer
Mr. Thieme has worked with Trinity Petroleum Management since September 2005 when he joined the Company to head its Information Technology department. His extensive knowledge of the Excalibur Oil and Gas software results from his role as having written the original software and from serving as the leader of the software development/modification team from 1979 through 2005. He also works directly with client requests for reports, training, conversions, software changes and questions as needed. He has over 30 years of Data Processing experience including 24 years as Vice President of Application Software at P2 Energy Solutions, the Excalibur software provider.
Joe Craven, Vice President, Business Development
Joe Craven brings more than 30 years of sales and sales management to Trinity’s business development. He has a BBA in Marketing from the University of Iowa. Joe’s background includes sales experience in a Fortune 500 computer company and more than 20 years in the oil and gas software business. He joined Paradigm Technologies (became P2 Energy Solutions in 2000) as a sales representative in 1988 and then served as VP of Sales from 1991 through 2005. From 2005 until joining Trinity in 2007 he was Director of North American Sales for Bolo Systems.
Sallie S. Tippie, Secretary and Vice President
Sallie S. Tippie has been with Trinity since June 1996. She is accomplished in strategic planning and financial analysis, and has a strong background in petroleum reservoir and economic evaluations. Ms. Tippie was previously with Questa Engineering Corp., a consulting firm, where she was involved in evaluating the engineering, economic and the financial aspects of various international and domestic engineering projects. Prior to joining Questa, Ms. Tippie was employed by Cody Energy where she managed the company reserve base, coordinated the external reserve auditors, evaluated internal projects and pending acquisition. Ms. Tippie received her degree in Biology from Colorado Women's College.
Richard Ferris, Engineer
Richard Ferris has been with Trinity since1992. Mr. Ferris is responsible for engineering and supervision of oil and gas properties, along with keeping environmental issues in compliance. He was employed by Luff Exploration Company for 12 years as an Operations Engineering Supervisor in Denver. Prior to that, he held various engineering positions with Conoco. He received a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Montana State University. Mr. Ferris has more than 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry and has been a Registered Professional Petroleum Engineer in Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming.
Pamela K. Reed, Landman
Pamela Reed has been with Trinity Petroleum since 1997 and offers more than twenty years oil and gas experience, including twelve years with Texaco, Inc. Ms. Reed presides over all land related responsibilities including contract negotiation, land/lease records, division orders and title curative, acquisitions and divestitures, title transfers, and administrative communication with both internal departments and outside partners. Ms. Reed is graduate of Colorado State University and a member of both the AAPL and DAPL.
